The Anti-swing Technology Application in Cranes

Clescrane has developed the world advanced anti-swing control system successfully by absorbing advanced industrial experience in the world. 
The anti-swing control system can reduce more than 90% of the load swing amplitude to increase the production efficiency greatly of the crane in material handling industry, which could improve the safety of crane in application and effectively decrease the risk of goods to be damaged and person to be hurt.

Technical Features of Anti-swing Function:
1.Prevent the hook swing caused by the load inertial impact while the traveling of trolley and crane.
2.Realize the anti-swing during the whole scope of hook path.
3.The independently set load height rotary knob can choose different height according to the different height of the load to control the wire rope length and swing angle more accurately.
4.Control the swing angle to be ±0.25°
5.The independent set switch on the manipulator will be used to activate this function or not.
6.Save the effort of the operator to manually set to control the swing angle and improve the stability and accuracy of the entire handling process.

CW series crane anti-swing control system work principle
The suspended material will swing because of the trolley or crane movement in the industrial crane. The stable operation could be achieved by rich experienced operator without anti-swing control system. The application of anti-swing control system could increase the working efficiency obviously, which could achieve precise position without waiting for the material to be stable.
The anti-swing control system takes advantage of pendulum principle and achieves continuous anti-swing by modifying 
SPDCOM received by electrical control system. We calculate the swing angle by checking the lifting height of the hook and offset the swing angle based on the accelerated speed and decelerated speed. 
 


CW series crane anti-swing control system Features
The control system of load swing is calculated based on the swing time and lifting height and it could modify the material swing on the hook automatically. (Test condition: CW series crane, Load: 100t, trolley working speed: 30m/min, crane working speed: 40m/min).

1. Stable -- Effectively decrease the swing of materials

The sling will have a big swing during the material traveling process as for the mistaken operation in traveling direction, rapid change in traveling direction, suddenly start and stop on the crane and acceleration and deceleration in operation, which will decrease the work efficiency. It is very important to increase the work efficiency, decrease sling swing time for cranes and frequently assembly industry. The crane with anti-swing control system could solve the problem effectively. The frequency control system application in the trolley and crane could achieve micro speed operation and load control, which could turn major movement of the operation rod into stable and precise load traveling. This intelligent function could help operator to achieve precise operation and increase the safety. 
There is a big swing in start, stop, acceleration and deceleration in operation without the application of anti-swing control system. The oscillation clearance is about ±80cm of the material and it needs a long time to be stable. The hook could not work normally and move from one working position to another in a short time.
2. Fast -- Effectively improve work efficiency
The market demand on large tonnage crane is constant and growing, because the industrial production scale is expending constantly, work efficiency is increasingly improved and the proportion of transporting and handling fees is gradually increased in the production line. Our customers have a higher request on the reliable and saving energy consumption of cranes under the following work condition: heavy lifting load, high requirement on work class, high work efficiency. The large swing on the cranes increase the work cycle time and operation cost, which could not satisfy the requirement of high frequency and speed in the production line.
Without the application of anti-swing control system: It will need about 200 seconds when put the material on the precise position;
With the application of anti-swing control system: It will save about 20-30% operation time when put the material on the precise position;
3. Accurate -- Realize accurate positioning
It needs jog up and down function to achieve the accurate transportation when the industrial cranes have to finish the lifting of large scale mould and other heavy duty material. The CW series cranes with anti-swing control system could achieve this function. The jog up and down function is also called inch function, which provides the way to get close to the load position with high accuracy. In the mean time, it is also suitable for lift movement and level movement. The range of jog up and down function is from 2 to 100mm. The cranes could transport the material to the accurate position under the help of anti-swing control system, which could increase the productivity and safety dramatically.
